How can I place an order?
You can order online, by phone or fax. Please see Contact Us for details.
How long does delivery take?
From leaving our smokehouse delivery takes 24 hours to most postcodes within mainland UK. If you are unsure about delivery to a specific area or postcode, give our smokehouse a call on 0800 781 3687 and they will be able to advise you.
What if the item I order is out of stock?
All seafood is supplied subject to availability, dependent on local weather conditions. You will be notified by telephone, by e-mail or a note will be added onto your online account, should we be unable to fulfil your order.
Can I come to the factory personally?
We have two smokehouses, one on Skye, the other in Fort William, both of these have shops where you can buy our fantastic fresh and smoked seafood. We would be delighted to meet you if you can call in. Visit our Contact Us page for details of where we are. Alternatively give us a call on 0800 781 3687 in advance of your visit to place an order ready for collection.
Where do you deliver?
We deliver throughout the UK, and we can usually deliver within 24 hours, depending on where you live. When you place your order you will be notified if delivery is restricted.
Is the site secure?
The payment area of our web site is fully secure, we use SECpay so that if you make online payment then your card details are guaranteed to remain safe and are unavailable to anyone.
How can I pay?
We accept only credit/ debit cards for online payment. We also accept offline payment; you can fax or phone our smokehouse with your credit card details or send a cheque made payable to 'Isle of Skye Seafood Ltd' through the post. Paying by cheque will delay the dispatch of your order – place your order at least two days before you require delivery, however at Christmas please give us as much time as possible!
How do I cancel my order?
Please contact us as soon as possible should you want to cancel an order for any particular reason. We will do our best to provide you with a full refund but this cannot be guaranteed 24 hours prior to dispatch.
How do I make a complaint?
We are dedicated to supplying seafood of the highest standard to your complete satisfaction. Any queries regarding the seafood you have received must be reported within 1 hour of receipt. Any goods agreed with us to be returned will be shipped back at your own cost unless stated otherwise. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

How long will the seafood keep in the fridge?
All our seafood is clearly marked on the outside of the pack with both the dispatch date and the use-by date. The fridge temperature should be 4°C.
Can I freeze it?
Yes, all our products are fresh. However, our smokey roast salmon pate, which is available in our Fisherman's Feast hamper and Ocean and Oak platter, is unsuitable for freezing due to the crème fraiche in it.
Can I send Isle of Skye Smokehouse seafood as a gift to a friend?
Of course! We can arrange delivery of our seafood to anywhere in the UK, just state when you order if the delivery address is different to the billing address, and personalise the gift message, and we will include a card in the delivery. And you can send as many gifts to as many different addresses as you like, althogh you will be charged delivery for each one.
Can I treat my colleagues to a seafood gift?
We will gladly organise the distribution of company/ corporate gifts. Simply email or post your own typed list of contact addresses for larger numbers and include any compliments slips or cards you may want included.
