What if the item I order is out of stock?

All seafood is supplied subject to availability, dependent on local weather conditions. You will be notified, either by telephone or by e-mail, should we be unable to fulfil your order.

Can I come to the factory personally?

We have two smokehouses, one on Skye, the other in Fort William, both of these have shops where you can buy our fantastic fresh and smoked seafood. We would be delighted to meet you if you can call in.

Do you deliver anywhere in the world?

We deliver to most places with a mail service but due to the timescales involved this service tends to be restricted to smoked product.

Is the site secure?

The payment area of our web site is fully secure, we use SECpay so that if you make online payment then your card details are guaranteed to remain safe and are unavailable to anyone.

How can I pay?

We accept only credit/debit cards for online payment. We also accept offline payment: you can fax or phone our office with your credit card details or send a cheque made payable to 'Isle of Skye Seafood Ltd' through the post. Paying by cheque will delay the despatch of your order. You will not be charged for any item until it is ready to post.

How do I make a complaint?

We are dedicated to supplying seafood of the highest standard to your complete satisfaction. Any queries regarding contents must be reported within 1 hour of receipt. Any goods agreed with us to be returned will be shipped back at your own cost unless stated otherwise. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

How long will it keep in the fridge?

Every item is clearly marked on the outside of the pack with both the despatch date and the use-by date. The fridge temperature should be 2°C.

Can I freeze it?

Yes, all our products are fresh. However, our oak roast salmon pate, which is available in our Fisherman's Feast hamper and Ocean and Oak platter, is unsuitable for freezing due to its ingredients.
