About Us
Back in the 80s here on Skye we recognised the need from a number of local hotels and restaurants for the supply of fresh and smoked seafood direct from the fishermen and boats that caught them. This was when Isle of Skye Smokehouse was established. Soon after making sure everyone on Skye, and around the west coast of Scotland was well supplied with our seafood, we started taking our wares elsewhere, including the Balmoral Hotel in Edinburgh, Skibo Castle in Dornoch, Harrods and the Royal Scotsman, to name but a few.
Thanks to the success of our succulent seafood in these establishments, demand then took off direct from consumers which resulted in the creation of our online shop and mail order brochure.
We are now proud to serve, not only the top hotels and restaurants throughout the UK, but also an ever growing consumer base, who purchase direct from us. In addition to this we also supply a number of Co-ops within the Highlands of Scotland and a number of delicatessens in Scotland and the north of England.

To visit us on Skye, once over the Skye Bridge, head north on the A87 (towards Portree) for about 7 miles until you reach Broadford. Pass though Broadford almost completely and on the right-hand side is a turning to the Industrial Estate, signposted to Isle of Skye Smokehouse. Follow the fish signs, you can't miss us.

Call either smokehouses on 0800 781 3687 to place an order and your seafood will be prepared to your requirements, ready to collect when it suits.
To visit Crannog Smokehouse in Fort William, once in Fort William, follow the 'Road to the Isles', A830 to Mallaig, turn into Blar Mhor Estate and follow the signs to the Crannog seafood shop.
